Park Equine Veterinary Services was established by Dr. Krista Howden. It is an equine exclusive ambulatory practice dedicated to providing high quality personalized care to clientele in Sherwood Park and surrounding areas.
PEVS's mission is to improve horse health and welfare through preventative medicine and quality veterinary services. Dr. Howden is sensitive to the needs of her equine patients and their owners as well as to the importance of communication.
Dr. Howden believes in the practice of evidence based veterinary medicine which is the integration of best research evidence with clinical expertise and client values. As a life long horsewoman and avid hunter/jumper competitor she is aware of the importance of horse health to our livelihoods and personal wellbeing.
